More than 130 years of experience endorse us, Vinagrerías del Penedés, as worldwide producers, bottlers and bulk suppliers of great quality vinegar.  Located in the heart of Penedés, extraordinary territory for vineyard cultivation, is our family business, born with a clear objective: to offer our customers the best quality vinegar in the market.

The Albertí family had always been related with the production of distillates and cava, but it is in 1880, when artisanal wine vinegar production begins in Vilafranca del Penedés.  It started as a small local business, but the quality of its products and customer loyalty made vinegar its main activity.  In 1910, the family inaugurated the first vinegar winery in Spain, located in Vilafranca del Penedes.  Short after, the family inaugurated the second plant in Madrid.  Moved by its entrepreneurial spirit, the second family generation undertakes a trip through the Mediterranean to meet the most important vinegar producers and gives a great boost to the company with packaged and bottled products, also being pioneers in Spain in this sector.  The third and fourth generation joined our efforts to export our vinegar internationally, where European, American and Asiatic markets take a lot of prominence in the business.  It is in 1997 when we decided to open a new vinegar plant in Pacs del Penedés, and without losing our essence, extend our production, bottling and storage capacity, and combine our traditional process with great technological advances. 

Currently in Vinagrerias del Penedés we export to more than 40 countries, we have more than 90 label references and more than 25 types of vinegar in our catalog, adapting to the needs of all our customers to continue offering, four generations later, the best quality vinegar in the market.
